The Lee brothers had an interesting idea for a band – to make it as much rock’n’roll as possible. And they did it. Over a decade ago they formed SUPAGROUP and form the beginning it was obvious that they did not hide their fascination towards AC/DC or ALICE COOPER. The discovery of Foodchain Records is a chicken laying golden eggs, and their newest album has got a chance, to be a platinum egg.

When inserting this CD to your drive, better call the fire service, because something will definitely burn. SUPAGROUP kicks ass, rapidly, powerfully and extremely well, that bruises are left on it. ‘Fire for Hire’ is an interesting rock release, a quite modern one , but still full of old-school ideas and old-school guitars, which seem to be a kind of border between blues, rock, punk and some pop. With such mixture this album simply cannot go down. It has got the pop’s ability to drag and entertain masses, who will jump on the dance floor till death. It has got that punk’s picky character, a dirty tone which can suck in some rebels. It has got the rock’s claw, audible especially in those systematic and nicely worked out riffs, and of course… drums. The instruments cooperate nicely and smoothly, with no errors or mistakes even. Finally, this album has got the blues style and tune, which gives this music a mature character, shows that the musicians are mentally developed and extremely skilled performers. It proves, that they are not locked up in just one music-genre box. Well done!

‘Fire for Hire’ is a good album, a cosmopolitan release showing that SUPAGROUP can play with music while playing the music. Such inconvenient mix was really in demand. It helps to open on new experience and to get out of the old rock drawer.
