Slowmo Music is a British doom/stoner web store. Being aware of the fact, that doom/stoner is not so developed, as one would like it to be, they banded some bands from all over Europe and asked them to contribute to their project. For many of those it was the one and only chance, to advertise themselves to the wider public.

This underground compilation is prepared very well. The bands chosen for this album, despite of playing mainly doom/stoner music, represent varied ways of doing it. “Down” deserves a further attention, because this melodic compositions really differs from the rest and will definitely draw one’s attention. The rest of the compositions is quite powerful, but less emotional. It is audible, that the songs were professionally recorded (with some little expects) and mixed. There is no actual problem with the sound level (you do not have make it louder or more silent whenever the song changes).

Such albums are in demand, because underground bands need promotion. Definitely, the first four bands have got something in them (emotional performance, fleshy sound and that “thing”). The rest is still out of order.
