Country: U.S.A.

This Astonish release of the recent year was once described as something really special, a come back to the sounds of the 80’s. I don’t know, but maybe I lived in other, different eighties. Did I miss anything special on my way to the twenty first century? I don’t think so.

Damn… this is the most childish piece of pop-rock I’ve ever heard. I do not know the band, I do not know the music genre they play either. What on earth is that Fun Rock stuff? It seems that the band are the only people who had fun while recording this piece of crap. I did not hear anything funny there. They are trying to do something similar to Jack Black’s TENACIOUS D project, but they are doing it all wrong. I found only one song which is… funny…no, it is less serious than the others. And that is ‘Zombie Me’. What is more, NO MORE KINGS sound exactly like MAROON 5 or JAMIROQUAI (with great respect to the last artist). There is not much to say about this album, if someone is interested in its sound, turn on your radio and listen to every Tom, Dick and Mary. They sound exactly the same. The album is very acoustic and soft, a perfect gift for your girlfriend, if you are a teenager. Otherwise just let it go.

What I can recommend instead of listening to this music is going to the local park and feeding ducks. You will have a good dead on your account and will not waste the electric energy, we all need so much.
