Cool songs: And Everything Went Black, Dead Drunk, A Very Grave Business

Gorerotted's second release on Metal Blade “A New Dawn For The Dead” is more brutal death from one of Britain's heaviest. It's the same gore/grind they've been delivering for nearly ten years. Fast, blast beating, roof rattling drum kicking, heavy pounding gutteral gore grind. More duel vox, high and low, despite losing Mr. Gore for this cd.

“And Everything Went Black” kicks off with some heavy melodic rhythm with furious drum kicking and pretty much sets the tone for the entire cd. It's fast, blast beating and gore/grind vocals remain constant throughout, and there's not alot of variation from song to song with the melodies. Some good heavy melodic headbanging at times. It's everything I'd expect from these grinders. It ends up with an eight minute grindfest called “Selection and Dissection Of Parts For Resurrection” which literally pounds your face in to the dust. Yeah, you'll like it.
