“Fang Bang” is the second release by ex-Murderdoll and Frankenstein Drag Queen frontman Wednesday 13 and is some good hard driving Rock'n'roll with a whole lotta fun thrown in. I'm lovin' this. It is a good mix of Marilyn Manson horror glam, and Misfits rock'n'roll with some Dope a la Racci Shay on drums. The lyrics are awesome fun, in a GWAR sort of way. Cheesy and fun. Really cool. Musically it's just fast and fun rock'n'roll, but heavy as shiiiiaaatt!!!

The fun starts with some Misfit type hard, driving rockers with “Morgue Than Words” and “American Werewolves In London”. The single from the cd is “Home Sweet Homocide” and is my favorite alongside “Faith In The Devil”. It's sex, drugs and rock'n'roll evil fun all the way through. “Happily Ever Cadaver” rocks to the tune of a cross dressing necrophiliac. “Curse Of Me”, “Haddonfield”, “Too Much Blood” are fast driven horror punk types and “Till Death Do Us Party” is back to a Misfits sound only much better. “Buried With Children” is speedier and heavier and is another favorite of mine. “Kill You Before You Kill Me” keeps it fast and heavy and “Die Sci Fi” is a pounding headbanger. This all ends with a Roky Erickson cover bringing back some 80's camp horror memories from “The Return Of The Living Dead”. I can only imagine how much fun this would be live and I'll be sure to catch them this fall on tour with Alice Cooper. Can't freakin' wait!
