The magic of the wizard´s dream is already on the Rapsody album named Symphony of the enchanted lands II – The dark secret, where actor Christopher Lee lent his voice as a magician´s king. Originally he thought in that point of time to work with his singing voice. Both parties thought, there could be more than that work.
In December 2004 Rhapsody again went to the studio with the trained opera singer Christopher Lee. The result was a new, amazing version of The magic of the wizard´s dream, this time in shape of a duet between Fabio Lione and bariton Lee. Both voices harmonise in an energy and a magic, so your neck hair will stand up!
Last but not least, Manowar´s Joey DeMaio and also Sascha Paeth had their fingers in the game and gave a real good production to that thing. With the help of an orchestra and different guest musicians the happening got a nice bombast that we already know from Rhapsody.
You can listen to The magic of the wizard´s dream in four languages: English, German, French and Italian. Version 1 and 2 can be found on the usual single and version 3 and 4 is on the digicpack version.
A previous unreleased track called Lo specchio d´argento is on that single, too. But this sounds a bit like hobbit voices.
For the great finale there is a song called The last angels´ call (also on the album Symphony of the enchanted land II), that gives us a bit of speed, just like we know it from Rhapsody.
