MAY RESULT „Tmina”

May Result is a black/death hysteria coming from Belgrade, Serbia. Before this release, they used to be called sympho black w/ female vocals, but now a lot of that have simply vanished. They threw out female vocals, got much better singer and key player, they improved themselves on originality and agression. Special addition to all this must be two songs written on Serbian language. Whole lyric concept was based on legends that lived throughout Serbian hystory, such as Raven’s myth, also there are a lot of mentioning of overthrowing old pagan beliefs by Christians etc. Acoustic passages found their place on the album as righteous replacement for those female vocals, but everything else is raw attack with black metal orchestra. Compositions of songs are somewhat in the Emperor style, but it is quite ungrateful to compare M.R. with anyone, even with Emperor. The album is opened with key played intro titled Oganj, and it continues into some excellent stuff such as “My martyred soul” “Zacaran” “Coldwinds Dominion” ”Jata Moja Crna”. Violins have been played on the outro named “Tmina praskozorja”. Million times so far it was said that none of the tracks nor lyrics written in Serbian cannot be translated without loosing it’s quality, so I won’t try to ruin that. It is true. Their forthcoming release has been titled as “Svetogrdje” and will be released in the early spring of 2004.
