Tzefa means viper in hebrew and it is a fitting name for this band that consists of Oleg (vocals+guitar) Yuri (Drummer) Alex (Bass) Konstantin (Guitar) and Slava (Classical vocals+violin). They are a melodic thrash band that trys to incorporate classical vocals and violin into there sound. The band without Slava's input is strong and powerfull. Reminds me of early Iced Earth with the change ups and the catchy hooks.
Great metal sound but then they blend the classical vocals in with Oleg's voice and in my oppinion it just don't mix well. Musically it also reminds me of the new In Flames “Rerout to Remain”. This band really needs to decide which direction they want to take there vocals. The classical sound really takes away from a good metal disc and for this reason it gets a 4 out of 10
