GRAVE „Back From The Grave”

I want to start this review by saying that I never was a follower of GRAVE and thier music. For some unknown reason I just over looked their Cd's when I was Cd searching.
Boy what a stupid move that was. I wish I would have bought their music long ago. Enough about me, I'm here to tell you that their latest is simply awesome. upon reading up on them, I come to find out that this is their first release in 6 years. They sure don't sound like they took a vacation, with their latest onslaught of heavy mid-paced Death Metal. If you are a fan of Blast-Beat Death Metal, you won't find any of that here. It is however heavy as hell. Also, there isn't alot of double-bass present, which o.k. I for one like alot double-bass, but they show you can make great Death Metal without it.

The Guitar sound churns like buzzsaw's through your speakers, cranking out riffs that pull you closer and closer to the Grave, which is what they want. The Vocals are clearly brutal, very easy to follow, without looking at the lyric booklet to figure out what is being said. This is a must buy if you like your Death Metal really Heavy. Don't let GRAVE slip past you like I did. I will be adding more of their stuff to my collection. Make sure your copy comes with the bonus Cd. It contain's over 50 minutes music from their Demo year's. If you a GRAVE fan, this is a must have. for new fans, such as myself, it show you the progression from years past.
