This is another band from the Czech republic that all I can say is if you like your riffs so thick that you couldn't pour them from a glass that was upside down then you will like this. This CD is very dark and doomy with a feel that the band are trying there hand at writing in the TYPE O NEGATIVE vain but much slower and heavier. The singer cant come close to Peter Steele of Negative in fact he is trying to be so doomy that you cant even tell if he is singing or just growling. If you where to remove the vocals off of this CD and just have an instrumental Disc of Doom metal it would probably work better for the band. The mood that is set on this CD is one of depression and gloom with a heavy punch that is not highlighted by any given instrument. Not one musician stands out on this disc for they all blend so well. It can be heard that this band has a lot of growing to do along with a search for a new singer. Although I am not crazy about this disc I have to give the band credit for they are tight and each member flows with the others so well. If you are into bands like MASTODON or HIGH ON FIRE you may want to give this band a chance but remember they do need help in the vocal department.
