Mighty Music artist BURN THE MANKIND robbed and kidnapped in home city

Mighty Music are sad to announce that the Brazilian metal band Burn The Mankind have been attacked and robbed by armed thieves on the way home from a rehearsal in their home city of Porto Alegre. The group estimates a loss of 20 thousand Brazilian Reais (about 5 thousand dollars/4.5 thousand Euros).

The guitarist Rafael Barros describes this as being a ”traumatizing experience” and reports on being held captured inside of the car, while the robbers took command and drove several kilometers with him in the backseat. After receiving death threats from the armed robbers, Rafael was let out of the car and they disappeared with the car and the equipment.

For this small Brazilian band this is a huge loss, and they are looking to find ways to recover before shortly upcoming shows.
