Prime Collective are proud to present the debut EP from danish metal outfit CABAL

CABAL CABAL is a new Copenhagen based act playing blackened and heavy tunes. The band aims to create a visceral and doom-laden atmosphere throughout both their music and visual expression. The production is crystal clear, whilst the songs draw a lot of inspirations from the new wave of black metal bands. Certainly fans of bands such as Black Tongue will acquire a taste for CABAL.

The band formed in the fall of 2014 after guitarist and producer Chris Kreutzfeldt started recruiting people for what would become CABAL. The band consists of current and previous members of danish underground metal and hardcore acts such as Scarred by Beauty, New Discolour and Embracing Sickness.

Joining forces with the danish record label PRIME COLLECTIVE, CABAL will be releasing their first EP titled “PURGE”. The first single “INNOCENT BLOOD” was released with a music video on december 8th 2015 following a good amount of hype and quicky becoming the “one to watch” for the remainder of 2016. The influential metal promoter BeheadingTheTraitor wrote:

“Forget what you think you know about “Downtempo”. CABAL is setting the new standard with “Innocent Blood”. Sinister blackened atmosphere paired with the punching crunch of the guitars sets the perfect mood to bring forth your most inner, evil demons.”

The EP was recorded, produced and mixed by Chris Kreutzfeldt and the band in his private studio.

The EP “PURGE” will hit the streets on march 7th worldwide through Prime Collective. The band will celebrate the EP at a party on the 5th of March at KB18 Copenhagen with label mates Unseen Faith.
