After a being on hiatus since 2008 to reform in 2013 with a renewed hunger and dedication, Montreal, QC metal-core quintet Fayne are returning to the Canadian metal scene with their third EP 'The Queen of Kings', out today, November 20th and available digitally via Crystal Math on iTunes here. The EP is the follow up to their 2004 debut 'You Took it All Away' and 2006's 'Delivering The Final Blow' that lead the band on multiple Canadian tours plus opening slots to support bands like Alexisonfire, Underoath, Hopesfall and Blessed By A Broken Heart.

Delivering a metal sound coupled with melodic, attitude-fueled breakdowns to compliment their high energy performances full of positive vibes, and ridiculously powerful guitar solos. Heavily influenced by bands such as Counterparts, Mastodon, and Periphery, 'The Queen of Kings' features a special guest appearance by Misery Signals vocalist Karl Schubach on their track Nomad's Land plus was produced by guitarist Alex Gonzalez with the help from Alan Douches of West West Side Music (Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, Between the Buried and Me) for the final mastering.

Hitting the stage a few times already this year, supporting well-known bands such as Vanna and Ontarios own Sleep When Youre Dead plus their most notable performance in 2014 was a first-ever appearance at the electronic dub-step outdoor festival, Valhalla Sound Circus. The excitement of a metal band at an electro-fest had the festivals headlining DJ/producer P0gman injure himself during Faynes set. The attention has secured them a spot on the 2015 Valhalla line-up, as well as a chance to support some bigger acts. Fayne has plans to tour Eastern Canada and launching their first official music video to support 'The Queen of Kings'. What you need to know is that Fayne is back from the dead and ready to deliver chaos to the masses. Stay tuned.
