MERIDIAN is releasing new single in honour of a family member…

… who lost the battle against cancer.

The story behind the song “The Bravest Face” goes back seven years. The music was written in 2007 during the writing process for the band's second EP. That same year, drummer Klaus got the very sad message that his nephew Daniel had been diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 21.

In despair at not being able to help his affected nephew, Klaus wrote the lyrics for The Bravest Face as a tribute to him.

“The Bravest Face” is released today in two versions for digital download – a bandversion and an acoustic version.

All profits from sales will be donated directly to Krćftens Bekćmpelse (The Cancer Foundation).

Daniel Skjoldborg Isaksen lost his battle against cancer on September 30th 2014, 28 years old.
