Sunny Italia presents for us next band with female singing – RAVENSCRY.
The album “One Way Out” was recorded at Fear Studios and Suonovivo Studios under the management of Fabrizio Grossi (Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, Slash, Laura Pausini, Cypress Hill, Alice Cooper). And Tom Baker (Megadeth, Judas Priest, Marylin Manson, Sevendust) made the mastering. The album was released in 2011 year and it contains 5 songs from Ep “Ravenscry” (Calliope, Nobody, Redemption I – Rainy, Redemption II – Reflection, Redemption III – Far Away).
The Gothic climate interweaves with Metal music, enriched by the voice of beautiful Giulia Stefani. The works are based on the really strong, heavy riffs together with the authoress' voice of all lyrics – charming Giulia. The mood joint with the melancholy and the considerable dose of melodics is audible in the Italians' music.
The addition of electronic music to songs magnificently composes and underlines the style as well as the character of team. The works “Redemption I, II, III” are epic passage through the disc… as the one track was divided by the short pauses, but we find something new, something different in every part of the album. The best songs are – “Nobody” and “Embrace” with the interesting, characteristic refrain (very nicely sounding).
In total – Italians recorded the good reliable album, which can cause the pleasure for people listening a stronger sounds. I think – when Giulia will reach for more deeper, heavier tone of her voice then we will hear about RAVENSCRY again because the music is really good.
