(HED)pe releases new track, announces tour

(Hed)pe have been writing new material on the road and recently entered the studio to record a new track entitled “Here and Now”, which can be heard online at www.MySpace.com/Hedpe. The track, which will be available on ITunes on August 18th, is an anthem for the group's Truth Movement and offers hope to the youth of today.

“We’ve been very inspired seeing the support of fans behind the Truth Movement, so we wrote and recorded the new song ‘Here and Now’. This track is a foreshadowing of what is to come for (Hed)pe and offers some hope to those kids who are wondering what the hell is going on right now. We are a mere three years from the changing of the ages, which holds something incredible for this planet and this band is a part of that,” commented Jared from (Hed)pe. “We want to remind the youth how powerful they are and that they are indeed in the right place at the right time. These kids want some lyrics they can bite into. These kids are a lot smarter than we give them credit for and every night at shows I talk to them and hear how they are tired of some of the bullshit music they are getting fed. I'm sure that is the main reason why our band is experiencing so much success right now. They love this hardcore stuff, especially when all they normally get is that milk toast hard rock. We are saying that we are excited to be alive in 2009/2010.”

With their seventh studio album “New World Orphans”, (Hed)pe sent the youth of America a call to arms. The album, which mixes heavy thrash riffs with punk-rock and hip-hop beats, is more than new music; it shows the band exposing the corruption and the web of lies that are being force fed to the American youth. After a series of releases with major labels that stifled the band’s creativity, (Hed)pe has been embraced by an underground movement that celebrates the musical melting pot that their music exemplifies. The group’s video for their new single “Renegade” is available online at http://www.youtube.com/hedpetv

(Hed)pe will embark on the “Hed to Head” Tour with Cleveland's pioneering masked madmen Mushroomhead, Straight Line Stitch and Supe starting August 7th in Des Moines, IA. Check our TOUR DATES section for more information.
