The band previously called THE LAND OF 10,000 LAKES released a new project and a  second one, under the name JUNKYARD PROPHET. Playing a mixture of rap and metal, supported with political content, the band rushes through music shops across the States and gains momentum. A pure independent character, noble message, or charlatans?

‘The Price’ represents many various concepts on the art of creating music. This album is full of surprises, which pop out of it just like rabbits from the magician’s hat. There is time for hardcore, rapcore, for some RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE or CRAZY TOWN stuff, to suddenly end up with a fantastic in sound, soul grabbing and poetic ballad. Later on, there are millions of influences and tribute-like compositions, mainly to the band’s influential artists, like LINKIN PARK. The music is of a high standard, there is a mixture of sounds, motifs, the pace often changes. The power is built by a simple operation, fleshy riffs, characteristic mouth-yelling vocal and very raw drums. When all those elements combined, a heavy and aggressive concert appears. This music is a political manifest, an appeal to the listeners conscience, supported by the second disc, with over an hour of lectures, recorded on it. On different topics of different issues and matters.

This not-political-free album is a good piece of music. The lectures are a different part of it, which should not be reviewed, as it lays in the business of the listener. From the musical point of view, the album contains quite good material, but the bonus tracks (original tracks with different arrangement, plus some other stuff) do not offer much. All in all, still worth listening.
