Cool songs: Malignant Disfigurement, Open Casket

The band was formed in 2004 and the best way to describe their works is to say, that this music in some way resembles the oeuvre of DYING FETUS, SKINLESS and KATAKLYSM. As a matter of fact, quite an impressive background. Luckily enough, the influences are not so strongly audible on the album, their own material has got the majority, the ‘major’ majority.

And this is a short, but very powerful piece of brutal deathcore – FINAL REDEMPTION are trying to step out of the ‘typical’ death circle, to play with the music while playing it. There are only four tracks, although spiced up with a huge dose of brutal, filthy and unspeakable power. Everything closed in a cool box, made of handsome motif shifts and changes in pace, plus a developed vocal line. All that stuff shows that the musicians treat their jobs seriously, therefore the same goes for their public. The music is compact and very comprehensible (inconvenient as for deathcore), strong and fleshy riffs with charismatic and hoarse death growls, create a real gruesome atmosphere. Not to mention the fantastic drum fills, always in their places. A good continue of their debut, but now, the time has come for a full-time job.

‘Final Redemption’ is maybe not innovative or original, but definitely can arouse interest and offers some easy death listening. The developed compositions enjoy the ears and give some hope for a bright future in this genre.
