OPPOSITION PARTY is a Thrash / Punk / Hardcore band from Singapore that have been stompin' around for nearly two decades and “Zombified” is their latest, released in 2005 on Pulverised Records. It's fast, hard driving punk, but carries more weight and pounds out some good thrash rhythms and seering leads. It's evident on the first track, “Zombie”, that this cd will make you move with a louder, faster style. There's only one song on the whole cd that is over three minutes, “Ignorance”, which is a slower thrash headbanger, a la old Sacred Reich. Most of the tracks are fast, furious heavy Thrash/Punk/Hardcore like “Taking Us For Fools” and “Brain Fucked” which blaze on all cylinders from the seering leads to the pounding rhythms and furious drum kicking.

There is no slowing down either, from “Control Your Mind” and “Ever Wonder Why?”, down through to “As Good As Dead”, this cd kicks your butt!! Harder, Faster, Louder!! Fast and tight and heavy as shiiiiaaattt!! Must be a good sweat and a helluva good time live. If you like to sweat and stomp, you'll love these sweatin' stompin' veterans of Thrash/Punk.
