A tribute concert to the “original” Tchort, Jeff Elrod, will take place at 7 P.M. on Friday May 12th at Oade's Hidden Camel in Lansing, Michigan. MASOCHIST will be performing for the first time in twelve years. Also appearing are SUMMON, GENOCYA, and a rare LUCIFER'S HAMMER appearance.
Tchort, who recently passed away, played in the doom/black metal band, MASOCHIST. Having formed in the early '90s, MASOCHIST was an integral piece to the USBM scene. The band split in the mid-nineties. Tchort went on to form the Moribund-cult act, THE WIND OF THE BLACK MOUNTAINS. The remaining members of MASOCHIST formed USBM stalwarts, SUMMON.
