Metal CD Collection, “The Greatest Underground Show On Earth”

Toronto, ON – February 07, 2006 — The metal music scene in Calgary, Alberta is one of Canada's best kept secrets. Nowhere can you find a more dedicated, talented, passionate, supportive and organized group of musicians. Cyclone Records is proud to share that secret with the world through the upcoming release of the metal compilation CD, “The Greatest Underground Show on Earth”.

Showcasing the various sub-genres of metal, this CD features 14 songs by 14 bands and encompasses everything from progressive metal to death metal. The CD's title is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to Calgary's other world-famous show, “The Calgary Stampede: The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”. The CD has a street date of 28 February 2006.

The CD is major release quality. It was mastered by Phil Demetro at The Lacquer Channel-Toronto, Canada's premiere mastering house, has been professionally replicated through Sony-Toronto and includes a 16 page full-colour booklet where each artist has their own page to display information, photos, etc. about themselves.
