The first sound clip from Green Carnation forthcoming album, “Acoustic Verses,” is now available online. The band has been working hard on the album all summer – in between multiple shows and festival appearances. The
short, 45-second clip (still untitled) has been made available to the public for the first time. The material is so fresh it hasn't even been mixed or mastered yet. The sample is short, but as Green Carnation's singer Kjetil Nordhus points out, “You could see it as a teaser for those interested in the band.”Acoustic Verses” is to be released later this year on the band's launched label, SubLife Productions and via The End Records in North America.”

In other Green Carnation news, the band is following up the big interest in the band from the Country of the Lakes, when they go to Finland for the first time in late November.
The dates are as follows: Friday November 25th,
Turku, Saturday November 26th, Jyväskylä, and Sunday November 27th, Helsinki. The Norwegians will join up with Finland's own hotshots Battlelore for the gigs and fellow Finns Deathlike Silence will be the support act on all three
concerts. Says singer Kjetil Nordhus, “I think we will all be up for a blast. We have noticed a big interest in the band from Finland and we have been planning this for a while now. All the members are happy it's been confirmed now, so we can start looking forward to this.”
“And for me, it's going t! o be great to meet my friends in Battlelore again. I've lived in the same bus as them for three weeks on a previous tour with Trail of Tears, and we all got along extremely well. So that's going to be a big bonus for me personally!” “Green Carnation is also hopeful to add another gig on the mini-tour, on Monday November 28th, in Tallinn, Estonia. This is not yet confirmed, though, but check www.greencarnation.no for more news as it happens.”

In other Green Carnation show news, the band will be making their North American debut on October 14th, 2005 in Toronto, Canada as headliners of the Day Of The Equinox festival.
