HELLFIRE „Requiem My Bride”

HELLFIRE „Requiem My Bride” - okładka
Music: Heavy/Speed/Thrash Metal
Cool Songs: Needle Dance, Road To Hell

When I go the promo of Hellfire in my hands I thought it was the new album of the Greek thrash metal band but I was wrong. “Requiem For My Bride” is the second album of this Polish metal band that was formed back in 1999 and released their debut album “Recoffination” in 2003 at their own expense. Since then, they signed a deal with Sonic Age Records and this is their brand new album.

Hellfire’s music cannot be described with only a few words. They combine elements of power, speed even thrash metal with their own personal sound and they do it very well. They will remind you of bands like Annihilator and Sanctuary for sure. Especially their vocals are of the same style with the ones of Warrel Dane in Sanctuary and this sounds more than good in my ears. But their style is not so strictly power/speed metal as you can hear some euro power metal influences in their music, like in “Needle Dance” and there are some thrash influences especially from bands like Flotsam And Jetsam. Their strongest points are the amazing riffs they have that will surely force your head to bang and their vocals which are very aggressive. I have to add that all these elements in their music can be found with a great production that sets off their skills.

There’s nothing else to add. I just advise you to trust Hellfire and buy this great album. You will enjoy it and you make you listen again albums like “Alice In Hell” and “Into The Mirror Black”…
