These guys are obviously from Switzerland. SPV licensed this MCD from the Swiss label Witchhunt Records. This MCD isn't bad at all. Just imagine a perfect mix of Coroner (from Switzeland as well!), Prong (”Prove You Wrong”-era) and Atheist. The vocals sound pretty much like Coroner but are a bit more melodic. The musicianship is great and the whole style is diverse and very technical in almost every aspect. There are many great solo passages and transitions although the songs are kept short (about 3 minutes). The production isn't heavy but atmospheric in a Coroner-like way and there is a sense of anxiety and frustration in the music.
All in all 5 great tracks with interesting lyrics (although not always with the correct grammar). In ”Occupied” we learn about the ”poetical thoughts” of a guy who wants to ”drop off the kids at the pool” while all bathrooms are either occupied or soiled by different idividuals. The other lyrics are more serious… believe me!
