MYSTHICON unleash two videos from upcoming album “Bieśń” – Black Metal Promotion streams album now

Polish black metal force MYSTHICON presents the second single from their long-awaited new album “Bieśń”. The full record is being streamed by Black Metal Promotion, giving fans an early taste of one of the most anticipated extreme metal releases of the year.

Band Background

Founded in 2015 by former Lux Occulta guitarist G’Ames, MYSTHICON quickly established themselves with a unique and atmospheric black metal sound. For their recordings, G’Ames invited musicians from Vader, Batushka, Hate, Kalt Vindur, as well as Tomasz Gilewski and guest Jerzy “U.Reck” Głód (Lux Occulta).

In September 2020, the band released their debut album “Silva – Oculis – Corvi” on cassette, CD, and vinyl. Now, after five years of silence, MYSTHICON return with a monumental new release.

The New Album: “Bieśń”

Work on the second album began in 2023, when G’Ames reunited with guitarist Szymon Hadała. Drawing inspiration from their roots in the Dukla region, the Low Beskids, and the Bieszczady Mountains, the band has created a record rich in atmosphere and storytelling.

The album title, “Bieśń”, refers to a collection of stories, songs, and legends from Dukla and its surroundings.

G’Ames describes the album:
“The album contains six tracks. It is a fusion of classic black metal with elements of progressive and doom metal. In terms of sound, it combines a traditional black metal approach with modern production. The album ends with a cover of ‘Creation’ from the first demo of Lux Occulta, performed in a new arrangement. Several guest musicians also appear, playing hurdy-gurdy and double bass, adding a phenomenal atmosphere.”
