Norwegian black metal duo Satyricon have unveiled the new video for their song Phoenix, a track taken from their recently released self-titled album.
Phoenix, the albums centre piece, finds the pair breaking new ground with an atypically overt melodic style. Satyr penned the song for Sivert Hřyem, former vocalist of Norways celebrated indie act Madrugada, and the result is a moody, slow burning ballad that still retains that quintessential Satyricon essence.
