URO, the new rock band…

…launches their first homonymous album of an epic and cinematographic sound. Their five-song work is a tour through different musical trends that come together in a conceptual album inspired in the books of Aldous Huxley, George Orwell o Ray Bradbury. The album can be listened for free in the website of the band.
URO is the culmination of an artistic project that now takes shape as a rock band that is formed by three members of the metal band Atsphear, a formation that has edited three long plays so far.
In their first work the band covers different styles to build their particular approach to rock music, composing a creative combination out of different elements taken from musical sources as diverse as classic, blues, funk, progressive music, and that even show the epic and cinematographic features of movie soundtracks.
Their compositions, that take deep roots in rock music, are enriched by the incorporation of symphonic environments recreated by the talented use of string sections as well as synthesizers.
Always pushing beyond the frontiers of expression and composition has led the band to the composition of their first album “Uro”, which is part of an artistic concept inspired in the works of authors like Aldous Huxley, George Orwell or Ray Bradbury.

You can listen the “Uro” for free in www.theuro.com.
The band will be in California, Utah, Nevada and Arizona form October 1st till October 17th promoting their release.
