PANDEMONIUM is one of several Polish bands which shook me when I was young. I remember their first promo (from a rehearsal)… These were really great tracks… and cover-song of SAMAEL… Total fear, horror and darkness were closed in frames of Black/Death Metal… PANDEMONIUM created its own style inspired SAMAEL and HELLHAMMER from the beginning… Next materials confirmed that PANDEMONIUM is Polish unique band… Their works are very heavy as well as climatic and first of all replete of black mysticism… A fate was not gracious for band unfortunately, because band released only 3 albums throughout 20 years of existence (with several smaller materials)… Obviously plus 3 albums under name – DOMAIN. The Initiated people know what I mean… However their all albums are real pearls in output of world Metal Scene, although they still are underestimated…

Today I have honour to describe the pretty new release this legendary group… Promo 2010 is material including two the newest tracks announcing arrival the newest album “Misanthropy” as well as the materials from concerts (Metal Time Festival and Od Nova Metal Fest from 2010 year)…

The works “Black Forest” and “God Delusion” showed the power of PANDEMONIUM as well as the unchanged approach of team to their art. I think that it is mega positive, because PANDEMONIUM still creates the ill-boding hymns full of darkness and horror. And by the way they does not play for a fashion. The arrangements strongly crush, because they have great strength, and it is well-kept in average-slow paces… The works knock down on the knees to render homage for the band… Listening these black compositions that I plunge in retrospective delirium and I see in front of my eyes the concert from Lublin (Poland), from the beginning of 90 years of XX century and again I feel the same dark euphoria…

The next element of Promo 2010 are the recordings from concerts (realized in very good visual quality, however the sound is not good unfortunately). The shows are mystical-magic records full of symbols, play of lights, burning torches, stage madness and obviously of ill-boding Black/Death Metal. Unfortunately the quality of recorded sound is unsatisfactory and it diminished the power of music PANDEMONIUM… The disc crowned video-clip of “Frost” – realized professionally in audio and video. But concerts are the best listened live, and good quality music e.g. from a CD…

PANDEMONIUM is true cult!
