In next year will be fifteen-years of LYZANXIA existence. And therefore the band experienced many years of activity and several tours in the Europe as well as in the USA. And the musicians shared the stage with e.g. THE HAUNTED, SOILWORK and GOJIRA
However in spite of so many years LYZANXIA has released only just five albums
The Music from “Locust” sounds very modern… the heavy, devastating and crushing instrumental structures are interlaced by the predatory and monstrous vocals (sometimes with features of polyphony and else of the melancholic melodies). The compositions possess the feature of melodies and dynamicity of Thrash Metal as well as aggression and heaviness of Death Metal . Some arrangements come near in the side of Swedish death-metal patents in style of AT THE GATES, THE HAUNTED and SOILWORK creating heavy (but simultaneously) very melodious subjects. Moreover the features of Nu Metal and else of Hard Core also are in the music… Such substance has to kick quite well and it does The mixture are crashing as well as are squashing and then soothes as well as creates various melodies (although in the context of the heavy guitar and the vocal melodies) The diverse rhythms – quick and average paces are the engine of arrangements, which sometimes slow down for a while but without stopping. And the all makes the impression of continuous dynamicity. Linking to the title of the album I can say that “Locust” is like a locust which destroys every life encountered on a way.
On the end I will add that Bjorn Engelmann made mastering. He also co-operated with BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH and RAMMSTEIN, and so the sound of the whole is made really very well LYZANXIA is the next material released by XIII Bis Records… The strength, differentiation and the melodies shook me strongly and I come back to this album willingly.
