THE ABSENCE posts studio video

Documenting their time at the famed, Erik Rutan-owned Mana Studios in St. Petersburg, Fla., Tampa's melodic death metallers THE ABSENCE are hard at work on their third album, Enemy Unbound.

The 'magical metal mayhem' ensues while the bearded band give viewers a tour of Justin Reynolds' Pearl Vision, a listen of 'Merciless 2,' a look over producer Brian Elliott's shoulder and a super exclusive peek of the band enjoying 'The Fast and the Furious' (and offering an impromptu performance of the theme song) in the break room between takes.

“So far, everything is on track and going great,” guitarist Peter Joseph tells Noisecreep. “We just can't wait to get this beast done and unleash it on the world!”

'Enemy Unbound' is due out sometime next year on Metal Blade Records.
