I am not a fan of stoner metal, to be honest i have only heard CROWBAR and polish stoner metal band CORRUPTION. So I will not compare SHEAVY to any band. Surely I will try to write something positive about SHEAVY… because they have some good points.

First of all this album is a solid portion of really groovy sounds with slow/mid tempo riffing and drum beats. Specific trance and characteristic vocal manner of Dan Moore is a highlight of the whole album. I am really enjoying his cosmis and OZZY style vocals. His are even rock'n'roll style (by the way whole album has the rock'n'roll vibe) while sometimes he sings more high pitched and… that's ok.

Definately band creates music which they love. If I have been a fan of BLACK SABBATH propably I would worship this album. These twelve songs sound like a spontanous hard rock/stoner/rock'n'roll surrounded by lot of naked girls and dirty drunked motorcycle riders. Hellyeah… but not so southern like HELLYEAH :).

Album sounds like in 80's or 90's. Production is analog without digital triggering and specific downs. These 43 minutes are like a good soundtrack to booze party and a bible for each guy who loves headbanging.

Just listen and feel free… beers up 🙂
