Extreme Texas Metal Fest IV Details

Deceased (VA), Sarcolytic (TX), Mictlantecuhtli (CA), Hyperion (TX), Insatanity (PA), and Ayasoltec (TX) are just a few of the 24 bands performing at EXTREME TEXAS METALFEST IV, set to take place August 18-19 at Red 7 (Austin, Texas). This is of course the fourth and largest fest put together by the Austin-based website, Extreme Texas Metal who plan on crushing the numbers from last year's event. This fest will feature some of Texas' most extreme metal bands including: Insidious Decrepancy, Dagon, Uncleansed, Disfigured, Bowel's Out, and Matyred! The weekend kicks off on Friday August 17th with the Pre Fest Bash including six bands, free food and drinks, and prize giveaways.

The full itinerary is as follows:

Friday August 17: Scattered Remains, Panzram, Self Induced Pain, Dogmahollow, Vows in Ashes, and The Ruins Few

Saturday August 18: Manifestation, Belligerency, Nodens, Sakrefix, Gates of Enoch, Bowels Out, Dagon, Martyred, Ayasoltec, Deceased, Uncleansed, and Mictlantecuhtli

Sunday August 19: Demonio, Lycergus, Slow Grind, Mala Suerte, Forever Mourne, Exulcerate, Ruins of Honor, Insidious Decrepancy, Disfigured, Insatanity, Sarcolytic, and Hyperion

Ossuary Industries Records, Realms of Metal, Rigor Mortis Records, 101X No Control, SickDrummer.com, DeathMetal.us, and The EDGE Magazine are just a few of this year's sponsors and vendors that will be in attendance as well as provide media and promotional support for the fest.
