DAM Recruits New Drummer, Album on Way

UK extreme metal band Dam have issued the following update:

Drummer Brad Merry — otherwise known for his work with London-based extreme Death Grind outfit TrenchHead — has joined Dam.

“It's a privilege to have someone as enthusiastic, focused and dedicated as Brad within our ranks.” remarks guitarist/vocalist Nathan. “Producing anything that matches the tracks that have been laid down for 'The Difference Engine' is no mean feat but I have no doubt that Brad will be up to the task.”

“I've been a fan of Dam's music for a while now, but the new material is unbelievable!” Brad enthuses, “It is pure unadulturated darkness!
This is a great opportunity and I'm really looking forward to playing the songs live!”

Brad Merry Plays Grindstix exclusively.

In other news, Candlelight Records have formally announced the European release date for DAM's latest album “The Difference Engine” as the 27th of September 2007. The release date for the US is yet to be confirmed.
