BUFFALO BROTHERS „Magic Incinerator”

BUFFALO BROTHERS „Magic Incinerator” - okładka

If you are looking for something melodic, basing on blues/rock grounds just try to find BUFFALO BROTHERS music. They started probably under the name PALEFACE (there is publication in London in 1995 called such name with two of B.B. songs and two unreleased later). In 1996 they have recorded demo with four songs, Stone Me, Legacy, Lost, One Good Reason (that took place at album Magic Incinerator). Their last known step (I tell for myself ;-)) was cover recorded for VA “Get Ya Covered” album (probably LP) called “Travelling Band”. And then suddenly they disappeared with this band. In internet there are no information about this band, that should be very famous.

So you see, just few years of activity, but what a music! I heard many of independent bands, but these guys really had this THING, this necessary potency, particular talent. Songs are melodic, guitars sound very good, organ too, bassist and drummer play with big understanding themselves. Complete band. And vocalist that had something alluring in his voice. Great sound, very warm, spacy, clearable, however guitars of course are overdrived… It sounds like mixture of Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Black Crowes and Blind Melon in one. You can just sink in this music and play it more and more. Again and again. There are no weak sides, nor lacks… Just rock inspirated by blues. A gift for true friend. Some may say, this is just a rock band. OK. But this album has really something uncatchable, something good and pretty. Try before you die.

I recommend you also searching http://www.chrwradio.com in its London Music Archive for more.
