Italian black metalers Graveworm gear up for the release of their fourth disc, Engraved In Black. This will be their first release for Nuclear Blast and their first domestic release for North America. Engraved In Black is, by far, their most brutal and heaviest album, but still contains everything we've come to seek from their music. The disc features nine tracks, among them an excellent cover of “Losing My Religion” from R.E.M. Engraved In Black was produced and mixed earlier this year at Stage One Studios with Andy Classen (Krisiun, Rotting Christ, Asphyx). Expect a unique mixture of old Satyricon, Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth. An album somewhere between black, death and gothic metal, the band describes as simply “dark metal.” Engraved In Black is set for release on August 12th.
