But it is the most curious that Boris (singer) plays simultaneously on the drums! And he connects these functions very well…
In this case we have the sharp pieces full of dynamic melodies, dirty guitar's riffs and psychedelic solos. The compositions possess specific feature – the claw – viz, they are pretty hard and even predatory in moments, which is underlined by the vocals and rebellious backing singers well-kept in typical tone for Hard Rock The arrangements are pretty simple but very catchy, easily falling into ears. And every piece builds specific dark-psychedelic mood with considerable dose of energy and controlled aggression as well as sometimes also of melancholy. Additionally, the nice percussive rhythms (very strong) add up good taste for the music.
I have not many experiences with this type of sounds. However I sometimes hear similarity to different bands like RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, QUEEN OF THE STONE AGE, ROB ZOMBIE or DANZIG and MOTORHEAD. And therefore how is visible (audible rather) – the musical spread is pretty wide (in conception of Hard Rock and Stoner Rock). But despite this spread, the compositions are coherent. It is hearing clearly that WEAPON HEAD walk bravely on their soil. There is no moment of hesitating in their music. On the end, WEAPON HEAD gave for us cover-song of John Lennon – “Cold Turkey” in sharp arrangement.
