Cool songs: Believe in me, Drowning…

Jeff Scott Soto, so so, so to, he he, I am just kidding… As I found that in my mailbox, I thought to myself: „Wow – a new Jeff Scott Soto is what I have got here! I am very curious about that!” and threw it in my CD player… Well, he just sings for every band who wants him. And now that guy throws out his third solo album. Ok, he shall show us what he is able to do…

Just in the beginning: He doesn´t sound like he sounded in Axel Rudi Pell!! I survived this first realization. Then I wondered what kind of nice hard rock he is giving to us.

„Believe in me“ could be the soundtrack to an American family soap  This song, I am just saying it now, is the best of the whole CD. That´s why, I guess, it was put out as an EP.

A classical hard rock track you can find in “Soul divine”. But I was just thinking to myself: He is reminding me on somebody… But whom??? And I don´t get myself influenced by anything before listening to a CD for the first time. That´s why I read the information for the CD after… But there I can find that our Jeff sounds like Seal! And, yesss, that is the singer, Jeff really reminds me sometimes! Song No. 3 (called “Drowning”) has got a great Pink Cream 69 riff and is an absolute melodic song! Great! A ballad is not missing. And that is why we have here „If this is the end“. But afterwards there is something faster for us: The titletrack “Lost in the translation” could be a live killer! “Doin´ time” as well. And directly after that we have a song called “High time”, which sounds like pure hard rock as well. This song has got a special beautiful solo!! For a difference: A second ballad is coming now which includes a wonderful piano. Great, if you wanna dream… And if there has to be a balance for those two ballads, a fat song with a fat riff called „On my own“ is going to give us a blast! Cool! And that should not stop with „Find our way“. But with “Sacred eyes” the CD comes to a end: This is a funny acoustic song making you feel happy!

And if you wanna hear more great hard rock, you should visit the tour: Look up the tourdates in the tourdates section!
