Welcome to the High Voltage Rock Awards 2016 – 16th of April

The newly founded ”HIGH VOLTAGE ROCK AWARDS” has become an integral and important part of the danish rock and metal scene. It is highlighting some of the best that the danish scene has to offer, including nominations to big names such as VOLBEAT, MIKE TRAMP DENNER/SHERMANN and D-A-D, side by side with promising newcomers such as MYRKUR, I’LL BE DAMNED, and SIAMESE.

The night also features a world premiere of the new project by the legendary Michael Denner and Hank Shermann. The influental guitarists from Mercyful Fate and King Diamond are releasing new material later this year, and the HIGH VOLTAGE ROCK AWARDS are honoured to be the debut show of the DENNER/SHERMANN project.

A total of 14 awards will be given to the nominees including “Album Of The Year”, “Best Live Act”, Best Alternative Act” and many more.

Joining DENNER/SHERMANN this evening will be GRUSOM, I’LL BE DAMNED, RED WARZSAWA, and THE VISION ABLAZE.
