Black Forest Fest IX – Pagan Altar, Sabbat and more

BLACK FOREST FEST returns for its 9th edition in 2026, bringing two days of underground metal to the Jugend- und Kulturzentrum Klosterhof in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany.

Located on the edge of the Black Forest, the festival welcomes metal maniacs interested not only in established names but also in lesser-known bands from a wide range of metal styles. The organizers describe the philosophy simply: the mixture is what makes it special.

Although the festival focuses heavily on the underground, the bands are selected for their high quality, with many having already made a strong impact on the international metal underground.

The format remains unchanged: one stage, with six bands on Friday and ten bands on Saturday.
