STORY OF JADE frightens us for 10 years, but only in that year the band released his full length material…
Some people from the Metal-world took part at production of album, like Vincent Sorg (worked with DIE TOTEN HOSEN, GRAVE DIGGER, IN EXTREMO) and Carlo Bellotti (cooperates with many Italian bands, the commander of the label Alkemist Fanatix Europe), so the music was in the good hands… Moreover, the some guests were invited during recording of the album , for example Flegias from NECRODEATH to support the band on the track “C.F. Virus S01” (as vocalist).
The album “The Damned Next Door” clearly shows the fascination of music and movies… The fascination of Classical Music – but in the meaning of Thrash Metal in style of OVERKILL, CEREBRAL FIX, KREATOR, which are clearly audible in the compositions presenting the sharp and murderous Thrash Metal – heavy and very dynamic, solo-developed, the technical as well as specifically melodic, dark with a pinch of psychedelia. The vocals are noteworthy (now rarely are encountered in this sort – something between the singers of OVERKILL and CEREBRAL FIX) which are enriched by the accents of growls giving the tone of Death Metal together with some solutions of guitar's riffs. In addition, the another vocal accents appear here which are typical for Thrash Metal backing vocals emphasizing the dynamics of the music.
And the fascination of movies is presented by the texts, the pictures from the booklet of the album as well as in image of band. In total this creates horror atmosphere of the whole.
Thrash Metal performed by STORY OF JADE offers the many interesting patents, sharp serves, crushing hits, specific melodies and the angry-sounding vocals immersed in the dark groundmass full of horror.
