The history of “Warriors of Thunder” reaches to the times of Middle Ages and to the military events from the terrain of Lithuania and Poland. I'm telling proudly that the occurrences of our ancestors plaited themselves during the battle at Grunwald (there our armies united against the common enemy) and this was described in the booklet of album. The interesting descriptions of historical events (which can be the lesson of history) also appeared there with the lyrics…

And the music? Obviously THUNDERTALE presents the epic Power Metal – very impulsive, dynamic, also heavy and battle as well as melodious with the note of nostalgia and with the many parties of keyboards. I define such songs as “Metal Hymns” – full of melodious pathos, catchy, very lofty and even outright ecstatic (especially with the choral refrains)… then I become warrior. And the mentioned choral parties are really total – polyphonic vocals, professionally arranged…

The sounds and melody of hornpipe are very curious accent in the music. Additionally this underlined the folk character of their Power Metal. And the intro from the beginning of album also is the sad and nostalgic song in Folk Metal style. And similarly the last bonus song “Lietuvos Broliai I Kara Jojo” is old Lithuanian song in Metal arrangement – I think that fans of Folk Metal surely will take in a armour and they will move to attack enemies listening this song, hahaha…

I was delighted of Lithuanians' previous album. However this time I had serious exceptions for the lead vocal. I did not feel the depth of singing there but I did feel nasal singing in the higher tones as well as sometimes too gentle voice and even the accent of English singing was too Slavic (Lithuanian). The exceptions considerably influenced on my perception of the whole… But then it was strange that this vocal did not disturb me in the second half of album and I liked it, hehehe… Maybe the next vocal sounded somewhat lower…

Despite all, THUNDERTALE portrays the interesting ideas for playing of Power Metal. The compositions are able to pass on many emotions and infect by these emotions.
