GRIMNESS 69 were born in 2001 and at the very beginning they called themselves GRIMNESS. The band was formed from the debris of VALLIUM, another Italian hardcore grinding band. The band’s message to the world is to ‘destroy useless human fuckin race’ and their music is the best illustration of this philosophy. ‘Grimness Avenue 69’ is their first full length album.

And this record shows, that GRIMNESS 69 are just another band thinking that they can conquer the world with copying their own style and ideas, an by sticking to one motif. From the beginning there is no vivid idea, that would show what is their destination. There is no variety at all, the guitars sound as if they had only one string, the drum fills are boring (very schematic), and the only thing that changes is the vocal line – a fleshy growl, sometimes changing into a hoarse death yell. Cool, but not enough as for such aggressive and dangerous music. It is a very weak proposition, a waste of time and money.

It is hard to find something more boring on the metal market, than this album. Only one leading motif, goes on and on, after a few tracks appears a need to be deaf for a while, so that the sound system could finally listen to something less boring, more varied and pleasurable – silence.
