Bands like “Noumena” and “Before the Dawn” really turn my metal senses on. Noumena is a new death metal band hailing from Finland, this cold country that most of Gothic and death metal band hail from.

Noumena has one of the coolest vocals I have ever heard. And mines are few coz I only admire the unique. Antti has a great vocal ranges and strong power for growling and grunting. He will be my-soon-to-be favorite death metal singer. He also manage to bring out clean parts which helped the band not only to be death metal band, but melodic death metal too.

My favorite song is ‘Misanthropolis’. It resembles so much the style of “Before the Dawn” (another metal Finnish band). They also remind me of the style of the American Doom Metal Band called “Daylight Dies”. Another favorite song for me called “Fire and Water”. The guitars and the drums were perfect.

They have a strong and heavy tones and riffs. It’s was so enjoyable listening to these talents. They got catchy steps in their playing.

Fans of death and melodic metal will find this album….’prefect’
