Cool songs: Response to Solitude, Me and the sun

Behind The Scenery is a 5 piece of Melodic Death band, screaming out from Germany. “Rétroviseur” is their 3rd album.

My “somehow” complete analysis will come on the following way, I'm actually trying to improve myself and the way I review albums, by giving more detailed account on the songs,

Rétroviseur:-
The entrance of this song was great! I loved the guitar. I have to say that the lyrics of this song is great! But once you start listening to the playing, you think that you will be listening to a “clean” vocal singing, but actually it turned out to be brutal. The break they have in the middle was needless, the lead could have played it himself.

Me and the sun:-
This song got my attention when I first heard it. The drums was obvious here, on contrary to the first song. The drums was a bit weak. Finally in this song could prove that these fellows could do/play melodic death metal. I like the acoustic part in the middle of the song.

Journey:-
One thing I would love to share it about this song, aside that it's great song. I have to say that the vocal's brutality became better and convincing.

Queen of the Swans:-
The playing was great! The guest vocal, she was cool, but she sang the whole song and I was hoping to hear the vocal sing this clean part since they are melodic death band. I really wanted to hear him.

Human 2.0:-
The lyrics of this song is very powerful and very expressive. Powerful playing and tones as well.

Respond to solitude:-
Got very impressive playing concerning the piano. The vocal also changed his singing form time to time, which is great. I admire the drummer her as well.

Elevation:-
Another Clean song not performed by the main vocal. And it's performed in French. Mostly this song could be called 'Instrumental”. it's performing on instruments.

Late Night:
Great song with great guitar playing specially the acoustic one. Slow song with great mood, and great to be the ending.

In the end, I would love to say that “BTC” are very cool band musically and they have the musically mentality. I hope to hear more from this band

note: 8/10
