My Shameful is a new band from Finland which has released 3 demos (the third one was also released as a mcd by Nocturnal Mysic) up till now and this is its debut album. My opinion is that this band can do many people love its music. Death/metal like My Dying Bride of “Turn Loose The Swans”, Saturnus and old Anathema. Excellent music with funeral riffs and many breaks, very good production for this style, great lyrics that touch every “black soul” and a magnificent booklet. What is still in low standards is the vocals. Yes, after some listenings you may get used to them but I think that the result would be even better with another style of vocals. Either clean or brutal. I hope they can improve this thing. But this does not mean you do not have to listen to this great album. Trust them!
