Some labels enforce me to make reviews of non-Metal music. But I sometimes like such retreat from Metal din… And this time I have to describe Italian trio ANDERSON and their debut album “Take and bow”…

Well, despite that I prefer heavier sound but ANDERSON seems quite nice band. Rock in their release is pretty dark and melancholic with strong influences of Past Rock and with small influences of Californian Pop Punk Rock. Though the sharper guitar hits happen in their music, but however the whole sounds calmly and even sometimes is sleepy. Maybe therefore that many melancholy solos and calm singings are there. And some melodies are very spatial and climatical.

ANDERSON creates music inspired by emotions. The songs are very romantic and melancholic in majority but and carefree and even quarrelsome or pretty impulsive. The last tracks portrays this spontaneity.

I think that fans of present ANATHEMA (which I also love from the beginning its existence) would like the music of ANDERSON.
