Sincerely saying I did not know about existence of LEGACY. Do they still exist? But I have read that they began their mission of praise of Jesus in the end of 80 years of last century. So now we have Christian Rock/Metal here. At that times the music was defined as Christian- or White- Metal. Album “Legacy” came into being in breakthrough of two years (1989-1990) and it seems that it already was released earlier. And the present material is the re-edition. Eonian Records defines it as “The World's Premier Hard Rock & Metal Archive Label”
Looking on the band photo I knew that something does not fit. Probably already nobody uses such combed long hairstyles with short fringes
so my associations with Glam Metal were accurate
and the music of LEGACY confirmed my associations
Already from many years I don't turn my attention to the religious background of released music, although I treat this like minority in “Metal Circle”. Meanwhile if I must talk about the music I will declare that “Legacy” is nice trip to 80 years. Do you remember bands in style of EUROPE, WHITE LION, WILDFIRE, SCORPIONS and DOKKEN? Just the music of LEGACY oscillates in similar climates This is the union of melancholy melodies with the bravery and the dynamics. The songs characterize strong hits – typical for Heavy Metal – with the sharp guitar riffs, the solos demonstrations, with the intense work of drums as well as with the vocal squeaks emphasizing the tension. However the whole is softened by the vocalist's melodious singing (sometimes with soft tinge, accented by backing singers of the rest team). Of course the balladic moments (with note of romanticism) do not lack here also. So I can say that the LEGACY music is the connection of Heavy Metal force and of Soft Metal sensitivity.
This musical retrospection portrays Metal music from other perspective. LEGACY represents Metal music as more open and pleasant for masses… The music full of charm and the positive emotions and by the way the music does not losing the indispensable for Metal of sharpness.
