It is extremely hard to find some serious information about this group. This might indicate, that they do not treat their music seriously, or maybe it is only a one-stand adventure? Nobody knows that, but the guys. After coming to the daylight, in 1999, they recorded one demo album and experienced many line up changes. Now, being a three-piece group, they seem to be asleep.
Closer is a quite uninteresting heavy album, situated somewhere in between brutal death and black metal. The latter is of a true satanic origin. It is just obvious that some infernal creatures beguiled the musicians. The music is very brutal and energetic and we have all heard it before. I just do not get it. What is the use of recording a material, recorded by someone else, some time ago, and doing it in a far worse condition? I am glad that people do not pay such artists for doing so. Unfortunately ENTROPIAs recording has been in the shops for some time, so probably a few unaware poor metal things bough this crappy material. Which is an average music, because it sounds as any other Tom, Dick and Mary. There is no fresh breeze, no innovation or originality. All of the ideas are just copies, and weak ones, very weak. Not to be suspected of being definitely against, I will say, that some compositions contain some crafty powerful elements, created mainly by the drums. Those, together with the guitars (very fleshy riffs), create a quite interesting death like atmosphere. And that is all. No more nice things.
ENTROPIA gave into a nicely prepared album, straight into the hands of fans. Although it is second-handed. There is no use of doing such things, especially when being at the very beginning of a serious career, or when just thinking of it seriously. More experiments and ideas of their own would be just fine, here, we have only a weak calques of some heavy standards.
