This is a split cd of two of Ohios best Death /Thrash bands of the past decade, Spawn of Satan, who is fronted by Jim Satanic (formerly Jim Sadist of Nunslaughter) and Bloodsick who have disbanded and formed Soulless. The first five tracks are from Spawn and are the first official releases from a band that has been Thrashin' and growling old school Death for over ten years. It's good speedy old school American thrash with Death vox by the veteran Jim. If you like old Bay Area stuff, like Exhumed, then you'll like Spawn Of Satan.

More to the Death of the Death/Thrash side is Cleveland's Bloodsick who have also been thrashin' and grindin' around Ohio for quite some time, who leave us five tracks before evolving into the band Soulless. It's also some good speedy American thrashy Death. Old school. It's a good combo, these two. If you can get your hands on it, I would grab it. I loved the nineties American Thrash and it's good to hear it living on!
