WONDERLAND was very nice surprise for me because I had expected that the boys play some crossover, nu metal, etc. – like majority of bands promoted by Alkemist Fanatix. Saying sincerely already the cover and the photo of the band prompted me that however WONDERLAND is closer the classics of metal
and it is – their music has very lots common with classic metal, although this is too simple for the band from Alkemist Fanatix and therefore they added something from themselves to the music.
I think the music of WONDERLAND is designed for fans of EUROPE first of all, or else HELLOWEEN or HAMMERFALL generally the music is for fans of very melodious, melancholy dynamic playing. The compositions of WONDERLAND just are such -The gentle, very soft melancholy male's singing (with a bit of emotional bursts of passion) introduces in very nostalgic tone the listener and the every instrument creates the exquisite melodies, to begin from the very melodious (sometimes like in ambient's style or techno's style) synthesizers, and having finished to the melodious solos, the passages and harmonies of guitar-bass. The very energetic work of drums watches over the pace of the whole, what it in connection with the very dynamic parties of guitars and the keys creates the really sharp driving but still very melodious.
WONDERLAND is superb connection the power metal's sharpness with the pop-ambient's melancholy as well as with dynamics of techno.
